At Ahead Diagnostics, a sinus study will provide the clinician with axial, coronal, and sagittal images through the maxillary sinuses. Providing images from these three perspectives gives the clinician a comprehensive examination of the area of interest.
Coronal views not only demonstrate pathology that may be present but also show anatomical structures that may impact treatment.

Sagittal views provide information about the relation of the sinuses to the dentition as well as other anatomical structures.

Axial views are provided the same as conventional CT scans, however, these are true size.

A panoramic cut is made from the scan data and provides an overall view of the maxillary sinuses and the dentition.
